Outline of the lecture by Raw Chef Sulinya
This goal of this talk is to inspire people and give them useful tools to look and feel their best through dietary, lifestyle, and mental shifts. I will cover energy, weight loss, skin health, and emotional eating.
2. My story
I will tell the story of how I used raw food to drop 60 pounds, heal severe eczema, clear up my acne after 12 years of no success, gain more energy, and develop self-worth.
3. How do you want to feel?
This section will be interactive. I will encourage the audience members to identify the feelings that they are chasing unconsciously, and to understand why. Using Tony Robbins’ framework of human needs, I will help them to see which of their needs are and are not being met satisfactorily, and how this might be influencing their dietary or lifestyle choices.
4. The GI tract affects every aspect of your life
I will talk about how digestion, in particular colon health, impacts our mood, energy, skin, weight, and other areas of health. I will then discuss how the modern diet and agriculture compromises this, and how we can use fibre-rich plant-based foods to reverse many of these damages. I will also discuss colon cleansing and probiotics.
5. The role of enzymes and life energy
In this section, I will primarily talk about raw foods and how powerful they can be for healing. The average person in the industrialized world spends 70% of his or her energy digesting food. However, it is very easy to free up most of this energy for activities or is used by the body to heal itself. I will give some sample recipes and some simple programs to follow to get started.
6. Emotional Eating
This section will be interactive. In this last part, I will talk about attachment to unhealthy ways of eating and the psychological reasons behind why we eat in ways that compromise our well-being. I will help attendees to look at their eating patterns and find the underlying reasons that drive their eating behaviour.
